What is "lim-flex" beef and why is it superior?

Since the mid 80’s, Diamond V Ranch has been running Angus cows that are then bred by Limousin bulls, this cross produces a ‘Lim-Flex’ calf. Over the years we have built our program to include some of the finest Limousin genetics offered, to breed our quality commercial angus herd. We believe the pairing of these two breeds creates the best of both worlds when it comes to beef; the marbling and flavor of Angus beef, accompanied by the efficiency, leanness and finer texture, resulting in the tenderness of Limousin beef.

Diamond V Beef is your source for premium Lim-Flex beef, offering exceptional quality directly from our fourth-generation family ranch to your table. We take pride in raising cattle with care and intention, combining time-honored ranching traditions with a strong commitment to quality at every stage. Our cattle are 100% grass fed and grain finished, sustainably raised, humanely treated, USDA inspected, and dry aged for 14 days to deliver the rich flavor, tenderness, and consistency our customers can taste in every cut.

As producers, along with the hired hands who help care for our herd, we are all Beef Quality Assurance Certified. That means our cattle are handled, treated, and transported with a high standard of care while they are with us. From the way our cattle are raised to the quality of the beef we provide, everything we do reflects our dedication to producing premium beef with integrity.
